Radiotherapy Unit
In 2007, the IVO created the Radiotherapy Unit in Alcoy, adjacent and connected to the Virgen de los Lirios Hospital, with the aim of offering radiotherapy care and treatment closer to the patient's home. The unit has all the necessary radiotherapy equipment and a qualified medical and technical team, which coordinates with the local hospital in the town of Alcoy and participates in the Tumour Committees. It is also in direct communication with the Radiotherapy team and the rest of the healthcare professionals located in the IVO Hospital Complex in Valencia.
