CUENCA
Radiotherapy Unit
The IVO created the Radiotherapy Unit in Cuenca, adjacent to the Virgen de la Luz Hospital, with the aim of offering radiotherapy care and treatment closer to the patient's home.
The IVO has an agreement with the Castilla-La Mancha Public Health Service.
The unit has all the necessary radiotherapy equipment and a qualified medical and technical team, which coordinates with the local hospital in the town of Cuenca and participates in the Tumour Committees.
It is also in direct communication with the Radiotherapy team and the rest of the healthcare professionals located in the IVO Hospital Complex in Valencia.
