The Instituto Valenciano de Oncología is located in an area of more than 25,000 square metres in the city of Valencia.

Due to its high technological capabilities and the prestige of its professionals, the Instituto Valenciano de Oncología (IVO) Foundation has become the option that grants the highest guarantee of efficacy in cancer treatment. This choice is available to any cancer patient who requests it, thanks to an agreement with the Valencian public healthcare system.

The first building of the hospital complex was built in 1975 and officially opened on 1 December 1976, by Queen Sofia. After four decades of activity in comprehensive cancer treatment, today, the IVO Foundation has a surface area of 25,000 m2 divided into the following facilities:

  • Hospital complex in Valencia, Spain, consisting mainly of 4 buildings: Dr. Antonio Llombart Building, B. José Simó Building, Outpatients Building, and New Building.
  • Early Diagnosis Unit in Valencia
  • Radiotherapy Unit in Alcoy (Alicante)
  • Radiotherapy Unit in Cuenca
